Is it "advice" or "advise"?

  • "Advice" is a recommendation, as in "We take advice from CSU veterinarians regarding our chickens' health."

  • "Advise" is the act of giving a recommendation, as in "The CSU veterinarians were pleased with our poultry farm and advised us to keep doing what we're doing."
